Ariat – A Different Breed of Company
Launched by Beth Cross and Pam Parker in 1993, and located in Union City, California. Ariat International has since become a popular brand in performance footwear, apparel and accessories brand for equestrian sports (including English and Western horseback riding), work industries and other outdoor activities. The company takes its name from Secretariat, the legendary race horse and 1973 Triple Crown winner with a heart almost three times the size of an average thoroughbred.
